📊The Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in (unless you were redirected elsewhere). It gives you a quick overview of what’s happening: conversation volume, bot performance, and recent activity. Use it to spot trends and jump quickly to the Inbox, Bots, or Broadcasts.

How to open the Dashboard

  • Click Dashboard (or Overview) in the left sidebar, or go to the home route (e.g. / or /dashboard). If your app shows a welcome line like "Welcome back, [name]! Here's what's happening today," you’re on the Dashboard.

What you’ll see

  • Title — Often "Dashboard" with a short welcome message (e.g. "Welcome back, [your name]! Here's what's happening today.").

  • Search — A search box (e.g. "Search conversations, contacts…") that lets you search from the Dashboard; results may open in the Inbox or Contacts depending on your app.

  • Time range — A dropdown to filter data (e.g. Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days). Changing it updates the numbers and charts on the page.

  • Quick action — A button like "New Broadcast" to start a new broadcast without leaving the Dashboard.

Quick stats (cards)

The Dashboard usually shows a row of stat cards with key numbers. Typical ones include:

Stat
What it means

Conversations

Total conversations in the selected time range. Clicking may take you to the Inbox.

Messages

Total messages sent and received in the period.

Bot automation

How much of the volume was handled by bots (e.g. percentage or trend).

Active conversations

Conversations currently "open" or in progress (if your app tracks this).

Numbers may show a trend (e.g. up/down vs previous period). Clicking a card often navigates to the related section (e.g. Inbox, Analytics).

Charts and visuals

  • Volume over time — A bar or line chart showing conversation or message volume (e.g. by day) for the selected range. Helps you see busy days or drops.

  • Platform / channel breakdown — Small cards or a grid showing how many conversations (or messages) came from each channel (e.g. Web Chat, WhatsApp, Messenger). Clicking one may filter or take you to that channel’s view.

  • Top bots — A list or table of your best-performing bots (e.g. by volume or automation rate), sometimes with a small performance badge (e.g. "Optimized", "Stable", "Warning") or a mini sparkline.

Recent activity / live feed

  • A recent activity or live feed section may show the latest conversations or interactions (e.g. "New message from…", "Conversation started on WhatsApp"). This helps you see what’s happening in near real time.

  • The layout often includes links or buttons to:

    • Inbox — To reply to conversations.

    • Bots — To create or edit bots.

    • Broadcasts — To create a new broadcast.

    • Analytics — For deeper reports.

How to use it

  • Check daily — Glance at the quick stats and time range to see if volume or automation looks normal.

  • Change the time range — Use Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days to see weekly/monthly trends.

  • Jump to work — Use the Inbox link when you see new activity, or Bots when you want to improve a flow. Use New Broadcast when you want to send a one-off message to a list or audience.

  • Spot problems — A big drop in conversations, or a bot’s performance badge turning to "Warning," can mean a disconnected channel or a flow that needs fixing. Then go to Campaigns or Bots to fix it.

If you don’t see much data

  • New account — If you’ve just connected a channel or created a bot, it’s normal for the Dashboard to show low or zero numbers at first. As conversations come in, the stats will fill up.

  • Time range — Try Last 30 Days or Last 90 Days to see if there’s older data.

  • Channels — Make sure at least one channel is connected and active. See Connect a channel.

For more detailed numbers and breakdowns (by channel, bot, response time), use Analytics.
