πŸ”—Integrations

Integrations is where you connect OnRaven to the channels and services your customers use. Each integration links OnRaven to an external platform so messages flow in and out automatically.

How to open Integrations

In the left sidebar, click Integrations. You'll see a grid (or list) of available platforms, each shown as a card.

What you'll see

Each integration card shows:

  • Platform name β€” The service (e.g. WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, Email, SMS).

  • Icon β€” The platform's logo.

  • Status β€” One of:

    • Connected (green) β€” Working and receiving messages.

    • Not connected (gray) β€” Available but not set up yet.

    • Coming Soon β€” Not available yet; you can request early access.

    • Maintenance β€” Temporarily unavailable.

  • Connect / Disconnect button β€” Tap to start or stop the connection.

You can search integrations by name, filter by category (Messaging, Email, CRM, Other), and switch between grid and list view.

Other

Platform
What it does

Slack

Get notifications in your team's Slack workspace.

Zapier

Connect OnRaven to 5,000+ apps. Create webhooks, then build Zaps that send or receive data. Use the Zapier node in the Workflow Builder (outbound: send payload to a Zap; inbound: wait for Zap to POST). Set automation rules when data arrives (create contact, create lead, add to audience, send message). See Zapier & Make for setup and recipe examples.

Make

Connect OnRaven to Make (Integromat) scenarios. Webhooks + Make node in the Workflow Builder (outbound/inbound) + automation rules (create contact, create lead, move lead stage, add tags, send broadcast, etc.). See Zapier & Make.

Calendly

Let customers book, reschedule, or cancel meetings from the conversation. Connect once per workspace; use the Calendly node in the Workflow Builder. See Configure each bot node – Calendly.

OpenTable

Let customers check availability and make, modify, or cancel restaurant reservations from the conversation. Connect once per workspace; use the OpenTable node in the Workflow Builder. See Configure each bot node – OpenTable.

More integrations are added regularly. If you see a "Coming Soon" card, you can request to be notified when it's available.

Connect an integration

The steps vary slightly by platform, but the general flow is:

  1. Go to Integrations from the sidebar.

  2. Find the platform you want and click Connect.

  3. Follow the prompts:

    • Social channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram) β€” You'll be asked to log in to the platform (e.g. Facebook login for Messenger), grant permissions, and select the account or page to connect.

    • Web Chat β€” You'll get a script snippet to add to your website. See Connect a channel for the full walkthrough.

    • SMS / Email β€” You'll enter your provider credentials or verify your domain.

  4. Once connected, the status changes to Connected and messages start flowing into your Inbox.

For a full step-by-step guide for each platform, see Connect a channel. For details on what permissions each platform needs and why, see Channel permissions and setup.

Disconnect an integration

  1. Go to Integrations.

  2. Find the connected platform.

  3. Click Disconnect (or open the card and click disconnect).

  4. Confirm when asked.

After disconnecting, messages from that channel will stop coming into OnRaven. Your existing conversations are kept; only new messages stop.

Integration + Campaign

When you connect a channel, a campaign is usually created for it. The campaign is the link between the channel and your bot. You can see and manage campaigns from the Campaigns page. Each campaign has:

  • A name (e.g. "My WhatsApp" or "Website Chat").

  • A status (Active or Paused).

  • An assigned bot (which bot handles conversations on this channel).

To change which bot handles a channel, go to Campaigns, find the campaign, and change the assigned bot. On mobile, you can do this from the Campaigns tab.

Troubleshooting

Problem
What to try

Integration shows "Not connected"

Click Connect and follow the setup steps. Make sure you have admin access to the external platform (e.g. Facebook Page admin for Messenger).

Integration disconnected unexpectedly

The external platform may have revoked access (e.g. token expired). Click Connect again to re-authorize.

Messages not appearing in Inbox

Check that the campaign is Active and has a bot assigned. Also check that the integration status is Connected.

Webhook or Zapier/Make call failing

Use API Transaction Logs (sidebar) to see inbound requests, status codes, and request/response details. Filter by provider and time range to debug. See API Transaction Logs.

"Coming Soon" β€” I need this channel now

Some channels are still in development. Contact your admin or support to ask about timelines.

For connecting specific channels step by step, see Connect a channel. For permissions and setup details by platform, see Channel permissions and setup.
